Maintenance Mechanic

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic capable of performing building and equipment required maintenance and preventative maintenance. 
The Maintenance Mechanic repairs machinery or mechanical equipment. Work involves most of the following: examining machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble, dismantling or partly dismantling machines and performing repairs that mainly involve the use of hand tools. Responsibilities include replacing broken or defective parts with items obtained from stock and or sending the machine to a machine shop for major repairs. reassembling machines and making all necessary adjustments for operation. In general, the work of a Maintenance Mechanic requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
In addition, the Maintenance Worker will perform periodic PM (Preventative Maintained), inspections along with general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Work involves a variety of the following duties: replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors, using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings, repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.  Repairing or replacing floor tiles, hanging doors, installing door locks, and replacing broken windowpanes. Other duties will be assigned by management as needed to support the mission of the owner.

  • Physically fit to always perform all aspects and requirements of the contractual job description.
  • Working in a 100% safe manner, always following all training guidelines and work plans with no exceptions.
  • Willingness to be flexible to the ever-changing client military medical environment.
  • Able to accomplish and maintain all contractual training proficiencies, E.g., CPR, HIPPA, OSHA, etc.
  • You will ensure high quality output by showing concern for all aspects of your job and checking the details.
