Janitor Supervisor

What You’ll Do
The Janitor (SCA Code 11150) performs daily cleaning duties in accordance with standard procedures of SRM
Group at the Aviation Support Facilities in Johnstown, PA. As the Janitor Supervisor, you will be responsible
for managing all other SRM janitors onsite to ensure contract standards are met and exceeded. Key
responsibilities will include management duties as well as cleaning tasks:
• Supervise staff to ensure scope of work is completed to standard in accordance to PWS
• Manage attendance & leave standards for onsite team
• Engage with client to ensure quality control standards are met and issues are promptly resolved
• Address and resolve personnel issues to include counseling and payroll issues
• Manage inventory control measures, including ordering of supplies and restocking janitor closets
• Examples of cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing, and polishing floors;
removing recycling, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing
metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning
lavatories, showers, and restrooms
• Adhere to all rules and regulations regarding health and safety, as directed by management
• Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Have
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar role
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift at least 25 lbs
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and drive to continuously identify areas for improvement
