What You’ll Do
The Housekeeping Aide (SCA Code 11122) performs daily cleaning duties in accordance with standard procedures of the housekeeping department at the National Guard Professional Education Center (PEC) in Little Rock, Arkansas. Key duties include the following:

• Perform regular cleaning of guest rooms and lodging common spaces in accordance with company and government requirements, including collecting soiled linens, changing trash, remaking beds, sweeping, mopping, cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces
• Transport trash from rooms and other collection points to incinerator, compactor, or pick-up area
• Perform special cleaning of walls, floors, common areas, and lighting fixtures as needed
• Assist in cleaning emergency spills that are observed or as requested
• Attend to reasonable complaints/requests from guests with professionalism and patience
• Adhere to all rules and regulations regarding health and safety
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Have

• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar role
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift at least 25 lbs
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and drive to continuously identify areas for improvement
