Project Manager and executive assistant supporting leadership for hospital logistical strategic planning; development of logistical departmental leadership roles and responsibilities; development of logistical operational management policies and procedures to include the provision of medical supplies, medical and nonmedical equipment acquisition and sustainment for a large federal medical facility.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Logistics, Business; 10+ years-experience in healthcare/hospital logistics, supply chain and medical equipment and services. Previous leadership experience; Knowledge of Quality Management Systems. Knowledge of the Federal Logistics and Supply System preferred.
Performs administrative and executive assistant support functions for the federal government supervisors, leaders, and program leads in support of strategic, facilities, clinical, and space planning activities.
Manages incoming telephone calls, records and relays messages, directs calls to appropriate parties or takes messages for staff and management team, including architecture and engineering functions.
Supports the Director of Planning Operations and Chief Strategic & Facilities Planning with Moving Work Groups and Space Committee administrative and project management functions.
Performs a variety of internet research functions and uses word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
Prepares invoices, memos, letters, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
Reviews incoming document submissions and prepares for federal government executive leadership’s review and signature.
Performs general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management database systems, and basic bookkeeping functions.
Attends meetings to take notes and obtain information: follows-up on behalf of federal government executive leadership, on deliverables and/or commitments made during conferences and meetings.
