WHY THE JOB EXISTS
 
The primary objective of this position is to provide part-time data entry support using the Defense Medical Logistics Support System (DMLSS). In January 2017, VWI will be looking for a candidate who is willing to provide data entry support on a part-time, 75 - 80% of the time. The candidate will have short periods of time when no work is needed. The candidate MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL to military bases throughout the United States. Travel may be for several weeks at a time. The hourly pay will be $19.00 -  $22.00/hr depending on DMLSS -  FM and RPIE input experience.



PRIMARY DUTIES
 
The primary duty of the position is to provide Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) data entry support in the Defense Medical Logistics Support System (DMLSS) for our RPIE survey team.  Knowledge of DMLSS-Facility Management (DMLSS-FM) is critical and experience with preventive maintenance scheduling is required.  Specific duties include: entering information from the RPIE survey Microsoft Excel database into DMLSS-FM, verifying that all DMLSS required information has been captured, entering equipment maintenance procedures and developing maintenance schedules.

 
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Two years experience using Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with DMLSS system is critical for the job but is not mandatory if an ability to quickly learn computer software applications is demonstrated.
  • Working knowledge, familiarity or background in medical facilities management is desirable but is not mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain a CAC card to work on a military base is required.
