What You’ll Do Execution of data related project tasks for projects under the direction of the Program Manager. Provides effective leadership and management to basic projects, ensuring quality performance by the project team. Works with spreadsheet software or relational databases to organize data and may provide graphic design support for projects, including development of deliverables, organizational charts, training materials, and other visual aids. Examine large data sets to identify trends, develop charts, and create visual presentations to help organizations make strategic decisions. Communicates highly technical information to numerous audiences, including senior management, the user community, and less experienced staff.
Attend weekly Space Management Team (SMT) meetings.
Participate in Working Groups with Hospital Services.
Conduct database research of VA databases for information on patient projections. Collaborate with VALB Informatics.
Provide data analytics support, which consists of analyzing data and building supporting products.
Translate space requirements into project plans (turn the space and facility requirements into a list of projects that need to be completed over the next 15 years).
Provide support to Space Management site survey of the function, purpose, and ownership of spaces across the VALB campus.
Assist the Space Management Team in the planning and execution of space moves due to renovations, construction, or user requests.
Review assessments and recommendations in accordance with Federal Regulations and Standards and verify compliance.
What You’ll Have Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degrees with 2+ years of experience with data analytics, and minimum of 1 year experience with project management.
Knowledge of data mining/data warehouse processes, data modeling, R or SAS, SQL, statistical analysis, database management and reporting, and data analysis.
Knowledge of computer aided design programs, like AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or equivalent.
Experience using geographic information systems (GIS) like ArcGIS.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Qualified candidates shall have received an annual seasonal influenza vaccination, or obtain an exemption for medical or religious reasons, prior to start of work.
